Our firm is comprised of lawyers who share a common objective: to provide quality service at a reasonable price and always with a humane approach.
Founded in Laval in 1981 by Richard Dufour and Monique Fradette, the firm quickly proved itself in the fields of family law, commercial law and civil litigation. Since 1984, it has also offered extensive expertise in foreign litigation management, particularly in the area of civil liability and insurance.
In 1998, following Monique Fradette’s appointment as a judge at the Court of Quebec, the firm was restructured, with Jean Marius Mottet (1981), Carole Tremblay (1986) and Lisette Lafontaine (1986) joining Richard Dufour (1976) to form Dufour, Mottet Avocats.
Other members of our dynamic and committed team include Annie Cadieux (2001), Sébastien Matte (2009), Stéphanie Chartray (2011) and Laurie Meitin (2007). In addition, pursuing the career he began in 1990, Richard Letendre joined the firm in 2009.
The coming together of these individuals was no coincidence. Dedicated and professional, the members of our team exhibit an astute blend of rigour and flexibility, managing their cases with efficiency and transparency and always focusing on providing their clients with sound advice and reliable support.
Each was quick to recognize that this is a team that shares the same philosophy and values. All are committed to the legal community and are enthusiastic participants in its challenges, growth and development.
