Carole Tremblay joined the firm of Dufour Fradette, Avocats in 1987 after articling with the Legal Aid office in Laval. Between 1991 and 1998, she worked with another law firm in Laval before returning to join the new team formed by Richard Dufour and Jean Marius Mottet. Since beginning her career, Ms. Tremblay has specialized in family law: divorce, separation, custody, alimony, adoption, and common law separations. With a steadfast focus on justice and fairness, she practices with efficiency and complete transparency. She is known for her strength and perseverance and always makes the protection of her clients’ rights
a top priority.
Interests and involvement: Actively involved in the legal community, Ms. Tremblay was a member of the illegal practice committee of the Barreau du Québec, a member of the Committee on Court Services of the Barreau de Laval, a member and chair of the Committee on Women in the Profession of the Laval Bar and chair of the Committee on best practices in family Law in Laval, which drafted a Best Practices Guide. She was a member of the Board of directors of the Barreau de Laval as advisor, secretary and first advisor. She is currently Bâtonnière of the Barreau de Laval for the year 2020-2021. For several years, she has been a member of the Liaison Committee with the Superior Court of the Barreau de Laval as a family law representative. She is also a member of the Association des avocats et avocates en droit de la famille du Québec. She is also involved with the Association des Anciens et Anciennes du Collège Régina Assumpta as Chair of the Board of directors. She has also been president of a syndicate of co-ownership for several years.
